Services at St Michael, Barton
Following the retirement of Rev David Wood, services at St Michael will continue to be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. Services will be conducted by ordained Clergy or registered Lay Readers wherever possible but some services of Morning Prayer may be led by Parishioners. A service of Holy Communion will be held every month, usually on the 4th Sunday but occasionally on the 2nd Sunday as will be the case in November. While most of the Holy Communion Services will be conducted by ordained Clergy there will be occasions when a Service of Communion by Extension is conducted by a registered Lay Reader. The Service time will normally be 10am but this may change occasionally to facilitate ordained Clergy. Advance notice of any change in Service time will be given.
Details of services at Christmas and Easter will be notified separately.
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month services are held at St Paul’s, Pooley Bridge, also at 10am, with Holy Communion normally on the 3rd Sunday.
